Alabama senior Gilbert Kigen ran a personal-best 13:34.95 in the men's 5,000 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Kigen improved from his previous outdoor best 13:40.99 at last year's Cardinal Classic to produce the fastest outdoor time by a collegiate performer this season and ascend to No. 14 in the world this year.
